THE FOREST FLOOR: HAND DYED DONEGAL TWEED YARN
The Forest Floor captures the quiet beauty of Ireland's woodland undergrowth. The hand dyed tweed base features earthy greens, mossy tones, and blurred brown shadows—all accented by natural Donegal neps that add texture and visual depth, evoking leaves, lichen, and the soft woodland carpet.
TEXTURED, SOFT & TIMELESS
Spun from either superwash merino or Bluefaced Leicester and blended with Donegal nep, this yarn is soft, durable, and full of character. Ethically sourced from non-mulesed sheep, it’s perfect for knitting or crochet projects that combine comfort with heritage-inspired charm.

HAND DYED TO ORDER
Hand dyed in small batches in Donegal, Ireland.
Please note that, as with all hand dyed yarn, each skein is beautifully unique, and colours may vary slightly even within the same dyelot. Colours may also vary from screen to screen. To keep your knitting consistent, we recommend buying enough for your project at once.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Gently hand-wash in cold water with mild detergent or wool wash. Test swatch when combining light and dark shades, as deeper colours (especially reds and neons) may bleed. Squeeze excess water out before drying flat.
