Chez Myrtle is a fabulous book. Photography is beautiful, instructions and illustrations are clear. Lots of beautiful new friends to knit with your stash of leftover yarn! The type of book binding used is great, it allows the book pages to lie flat as you go through the different patterns. I’m looking forward to knitting some of the patterns this winter

The funny name caught my eye, and I was curious about the experience to knit with unspun wool. I am using 7.00 mm needles together with one string of Einband and happily knitting away. I am surprised how fast I got to the point to try on the sweater and how soft and comfy the fabric is.

It's way lighter IRL than on the picture, sadly. The base yarn is lovely though.

Stunning colourway on a luxurious yarn base! Bought to pair with a skein in the St Brigid's Flame colourway and looks like it should work nicely. (Note that it doesn't *match* the red tones in that yarn, just looks really lovely with it.)
A gorgeous yarn base, one of my favourites I've come across. The only minor criticism with this colourway is it's a little lighter than I expected from some of the pictures. I was hoping for more of a near black colour whereas it is decisively grey. Still a lovely colour in its own right though!

I enjoy YARN’s content for its relevancy today as people search for producers of yarn using both sustainability and breed identity as mandates, but more than that, it demonstrates that this is how yarn production began and has never been forgotten in Scotland.
