US SHIPPING & TARIFFS
Shipping to the USA from Ireland
Updated 30th August 2025
Important Update for Our US Customers
From 29th August 2025, new US customs regulations mean that all goods entering the USA will now be subject to taxes. The previous de minimis rule (which allowed orders under $800 to be tax-free) will no longer apply.
But don’t worry — we will continue shipping to the USA as normal. Please note that a 15% tax charge may be applied to US orders before delivery.
How does this work when you order?
-
The recipient in the USA will need to pay the taxes before the parcel is delivered.
-
To make this possible, an email address must be provided at checkout.
-
Our trusted International Logistics Partner will contact the recipient by email with details of the tax payment and a small administrative fee.
-
Payment must be made within 5 calendar days.
-
If the tax isn’t paid in time, the parcel will be returned to us. We’ll refund the cost of the items (shipping charges are non-refundable).
We understand this is a change, but we’re here to support you every step of the way and will do our best to ensure your order reaches you smoothly. If you have any questions or need help with your order, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at info@wildatlanticyarns.com
